Principal Lea Mishlan leads the Mustangs at Lamar Junior High School. She brings more than 20 years of experience in education and educational leadership, most recently serving as principal of Wessendorff Middle School. Dr. Mishlan has served as a teacher, school counselor, assistant principal, dean of instruction, and principal throughout her career. She earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of South Florida and her doctorate in Ethical Leadership from the University of St. Thomas and is passionate about fostering academic excellence, positive school culture, and meaningful relationships with students, staff, and families. Dr. Mishlan is committed to building on Lamar Junior High School’s strong traditions while partnering with families and staff to support every student's success.
